History
While working for several fortune 500 companies, Dan Fleischhauer, managed engineering and CAD departments during his career. Dan also spent several years in IT (Information Technology) sector, specifically supporting Real Estate & Facility Management. Dan implemented CAFM (Computer-Aided Facility Management) tools and managed the Technology Department.
1992 - Dan Fleischhauer, started CaddFX Design Services while working part-time in his basement of his home. CaddFX initially offered drafting service to Architects and Engineers as a support firm where he managed the entire scope of projects from concept, schematic, design & construction phases. CaddFX also offered space planning, reverse engineering & As-Built services, including CAFM services to its clients.
2002 - Dan decided to run the business full-time by focusing all efforts on the business.
2003 - CaddFX moves into new office located on Tyler Blvd. in Mentor Ohio
2005 – CaddFX purchase new high-end Printing Equipment and offers scanning services to its clients by converting drawings files from raster to vector providing a fully layered and editable CAD file.
2006 – Salvatore LaCorte joins the company as VP Business Relations for A/E/C/CAFM solutions. Sal holds an Engineering degree and an MBA in business and brings a host of sales and business experience to the company. Sal’s years of field sales, engineering and As-Built services for residential, commercial and Nuclear Plant projects really benefits CaddFX business model.
2007- Dan and his partner, Salvatore LaCorte, decided to expand CaddFX product offering by becoming an Authorized Autodesk Reseller. They chose to offer Autodesk products due to their extensive hands-on experience & knowledge utilizing Autodesk products, coupled with their expertise in CAFM software & solutions; they felt Autodesk product offering was a perfect fit.
2008 - CaddFX becomes a FloorView reseller & service provider of Critical Response software. Our support solutions include development of Critical Component Maps, Emergency Evacuation Maps, Emergency Evacuation Maps, Assembly Point Maps, Crisis Situation Maps & Code Red maps, to protect the safety and security of people & buildings. CaddFX decided to rebrand these product offerings and created a new website named Critical Response Solutions and moved all product under CaddFX to crsincoporated.com
(CRS) Critical Response Solutions focused countless hours and efforts on protecting schools, specifically to assist with House Bill 422. This bill required all schools to supply their local police and fire departments with floor plans of their school. CRS created an organization “Securing Our Nations Students” and website, seccuringournationsstudents.org to bring awareness and expand knowledge about security. The organization exposes firms to products and services that will help maintain a secure learning environment for students.
2009 – CaddFX becomes a Reseller of CadaPultFM & service provider. Our extensive knowledge of CAFM Computer-Aided Facility Management software on the market guided us to select CadapultFM as a tool of choice to resell and recommend to our customers. Since CadapultFM is modular we help firms track leases, space, people, assets, maintenance and Moves during life-cycle occupancy & ownership of buildings.
2010 – CaddFX for years provided refurbished laptops, workstations, servers & plotters to firms looking for inexpensive hardware, and we expanded our product offering for new hardware by becoming a reseller for HP, Dell, Lenovo & ACER focusing on high-end CAD laptops and workstations for users.
2011 – CaddFX expands its As-Built services and became a PKNail software reseller. The PKNail software provides us and firms the ability to develop a BIM “As-Built” model right on the job site with its integration directly into Revit Architecture.
2012 – As CaddFX focuses on Technical services they earned the Autodesk Consulting Specialization designation. This designation demonstrates our commitment of services & business strategy, industry expertise, capabilities and capacity to help our customers when engaged with projects.
Today, CaddFX is deemed the premier A/E/C solutions provider for Architects, Engineers & Construction firms. From the inception of a project, offering the latest in CAD & BIM Autodesk software products, CAD support services, scanning, as-built services, 3D Models & the latest hardware technology. CaddFX provides a complete turn-key solution to perform any project.
Safety is also our concern. Our primary goal is to provide Facility, Safety and Security groups the necessary data by knowing where critical components are located for building operations, as well as improve the emergency response time, including pre-planning safety services in the event of an actual emergency. Our Web enabled software enables organizations to visually manage their business. It is also (DHS) Department of Homeland Security approved and NIMS certified.
